Mercy Imaging Centers a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 16 locations in the greater Sacramento and Woodland areas. Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients. The locations perform more than 175000 exams annually with the goal of providing top quality imaging compassionate care and timely service with a smile.
Responsibilities:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiolologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program
- Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills are essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment and radiation safety is required
- Impact of Decisions: Serious impact on patient relationships patient outcomes physician efficiency stewardship of clinic resources and our image in the community
- Internal/External Contacts: Patients physicians and other clinic staff hospital staff patient family members and vendors
- Supervision: Reports to the department Chief Technologist/Manager; does not supervise others
- One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment is preferred
- Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS is preferred
- ARRT Certification
