The Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer is expected to produce high-quality Radiographic and mammographic images under the guidance of the Radiology Supervisor. These films shall be accomplished within the positioning guidelines of the department and following all accepted radiation safety procedures. The Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer will also take part in Quality Improvement and Quality Control activities. Schedule: Saturday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs Diagnostic Radiographic and Mammographic examinations following department protocol and utilizing technical factors to ensure the highest quality result within ACR guidelines.
- Produces copies of Radiographic & Mammographic images as needed, of film or CD.
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize age-related pathology and physical presentation when performing exams and choosing technical factors.
- Assists in Clerical duties including but not limited to patient data input, scheduling patients, updating as needed, preparing exams for reading and filling, as well as participating in maintaining the mammography tracking system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate of the AMA Approved Radiologic Technology Training Program.
- An associate's Degree is strongly desired.
- ARRT in the State of Massachusetts is registered in good standing, both in Radiography and Mammography.
- Certification and clinical experience in Mammography.
- CPR Certified and ability to maintain on an annual basis.
