Compensation: $35 - $45 / hr

Job Summary:
The Radiology Tech (RT) - Vascular is a specialized healthcare professional who uses imaging methods to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with vascular diseases. This position uses technology including MRI, CT and ultrasound, taking responsibility for patient safety and comfort while ensuring quality imaging results. The role is crucial to both the medical team and the patient, as the images they produce help determine the course of treatment.
Duties:
1. Perform a variety of radiologic procedures including vascular, invasive, interventional procedures and other related procedures (Currently using GE C Arm)
2. Preparation of the patient for their procedure including explanation, positioning, and sedation if necessary.
3. Generate clear and complete written reports based on the results of imaging studies.
4. Maintain accurate and complete patient records as they relate to the radiology department.
5. Operate and maintain radiology equipment in a safe manner, reporting any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
6. Collaborate with the radiologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.
7. Adhere to radiation safety measures and guidelines in line with the radiology department and legal requirements.
8. Provide education and training to patients and their families about the procedure and post-procedure care.
9. Regularly update professional knowledge and skills to ensure the best patient care and stay abreast of evolving trends in the field.
10. Assist in the scheduling of patients for radiologic exams as needed.
Other Requirements:
- Graduated from Recognized RT Program
- Experience with Arterial Cases
