Position: Rail Services Administrative Coordinator
Location: Kansas City, MO
OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. Additionally, this position will control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse to shipping.

Location: Kansas City, MO
OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. Additionally, this position will control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse to shipping.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
- Picks-up product by monitoring production; loading and moving product
- Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database
- Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems
- Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases
- Monitors inventory by completing counts as required
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Create and keep track of all needed purchase orders
- Maintain records/record systems using company's RS RP Systems
- Provide administrative support to ensure that municipal operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
- Other duties as required and assigned
TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma / GED 2-4 year degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience preferred
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, is a must
- Ability to understand Technical Documentation is desirable: drawings for example

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in a workshop, high pressure environment
- Must be self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills essential for day to day operations
- Must meet commitments and track daily tasks
- Ability to work effectively within a team is a must
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Understanding oral and written Spanish highly desirable
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
