About the Job
Ranch hands are manual laborers who perform a variety of tasks on ranches and agricultural facilities. Their duties include:
- Animal husbandry
Caring for livestock, including feeding calves, and herding cattle to pastures
- Agricultural duties
Operating and maintaining farm equipment, planting forage crops, mowing and baling hay, and irrigating and applying fertilizer or chemicals
