Job Description
This position works under the direction of the RCM Manager. He/She will facilitate in-person classroom training and support of the NextGen PM application as it pertains to RCM for front and back office staff. This position is also responsible for providing day-to-day customer-focused application support, as well as support to internal system users at the MSO and remote clinics.
JOB DUTIES:
- Delivers pre-live training to office staff on PMGNTX Best Practice processes and PM software.
- Delivers post-live training to office staff focused on efficiency, delegation, and workflows of NextGen PM.
- Participate in designing and developing workflow enhancements that align with Best Practices.
- Conduct classroom RCM 101 & 102 orientation training for new employees.
- Participate in major upgrades/updates/testing, as needed
- Works collaboratively with other teams to provide excellent customer service to remote offices.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the RCM team to assist in developing and maintaining the training program.
- Participates in educational and leadership opportunities to enhance the professional growth and clinical expertise.
- Respond to, and diagnose, problems through discussions with users, including problem recognition, research isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with NextGen PM software
- Minimum 3 years of progressive professional experience in healthcare
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google software
- Knowledge and understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes and payer-specific coding guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of coding, medical records, remittance codes, and reimbursement policies
- Strong knowledge of ambulatory practice workflows.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and editing of instructional material.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and productively with a variety of personnel within teams and across organizational lines.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced and changing work environment.
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Must be able to be on their feet for up to 2 hours at a time.
