RE Firm Seeks Property Accountant at Creative Financial Staffing

CFS is paired with a real estate property management firm looking to add a Property Accountant to their team.

About the Company Seeking a Property Accountant:

• Founded almost thirty years ago, this company helps with all parts of the real estate business from construction, to property management, to property marketing
• The growth they are experiencing is in line with current real estate projections for the Boston area; this is a stably growing entity
• Hybrid working environment

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant Role:

• Responsible for representing and closing 15 to 20 properties per monthly in full
• Update monthly property workbooks that codifies month-end process
• Process invoices, vendor communication, resolve discrepancies, in a timely manner
• Upload information for budget template and support Account Executives in the annual budget process
• Timely completion of bank reconciliations and on-going cash position of properties
• Analyze monthly financial package and support budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Monthly client financial package completion
• Complete year end audit packages

Qualifications for the Property Accountant:

• 1+ year(s') experience in a property accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, or experience equivalent (4 years)
• Experience with MRI and/or Yardi
