Description:Markon is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to provide strategic support to the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Facilities Asset Management branch. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for supporting management of Marine Corps real estate assets, supporting audit initiatives, and enhancing decision-making for leadership through detailed research, analysis, and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with senior leaders to ensure real estate accountability, contribute to guidance and policy development, and advocate for MCICOM’s needs in interagency coordination.
- Assist in managing the Marine Corps’ real estate portfolio, ensuring accountability and accuracy of records.
- Support audit initiatives, including responding to Congressional and DoD taskers.
- Develop and present briefs for high-visibility real estate actions.
- Conduct independent research and analysis to inform leadership decision-making.
- Enhance situational awareness and communication through thorough coordination across departments.
- Collaborate on the development of procedures, criteria, policies, and initiatives for real estate and asset management.
- Create and maintain clear and concise reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
- Provide expertise in meetings, working groups, and ongoing projects, acting on behalf of the client’s office.
- Strong background in real property, asset management, or facilities planning, preferably with NAVFAC, Army Corps of Engineers, or a similar government agency.
- The ideal candidate has experience working in the internet Navy Facility Assets Data Store (iNFADS) database.
- Bachelors degree required + five years of relevant work experience
- Experience in data analysis, report generation, and creating strategic deliverables in various formats (written, graphic, verbal).
- Knowledge of DoD, Navy, and USMC strategies, policies, and real estate portfolio management.
- Ability to independently conduct research and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Strong communication
- Secret security clearance required.
