Position Overview
The Commercial Real Estate Associate will assist with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, due diligence, joint ventures, and other real estate matters. The role involves drafting, structuring, and negotiating transaction documents while collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys on high-profile projects across local and national markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and joint venture transactions
- Conduct thorough due diligence and identify potential risks
- Structure, negotiate, and draft a variety of real estate agreements
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address complex real estate matters
- Maintain strong client relationships with effective communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar
- 2-5 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
