Position: Real Estate Attorney – Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use Group (Seattle, WA)
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3-6 years)
Direct Counsel is actively seeking a Real Estate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience to join the Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use group of a highly regarded Seattle-based law firm. This role offers the chance to work on sophisticated real estate transactions and gain exposure to environmental and land use matters alongside a collaborative team.
About the Role:
In this position, you will focus on real estate transactions, including development, acquisition, leasing, and financing. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across industries such as commercial, residential, hospitality, and healthcare, managing portfolios, negotiating deals, and addressing complex environmental and land use considerations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle real estate transactions, including leasing, financing, and acquisitions
- Collaborate with developers, investors, and industry professionals on high-level projects
- Advise clients on environmental and land use aspects as they pertain to real estate matters
- Engage in strategic planning, negotiation, and representation for client projects
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in real estate, including transactions, leasing, and financing; land use experience is a plus
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; licensed to practice in Washington (or ability to waive into Washington)
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Client-focused with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to community engagement and public service
Compensation:
Annualized salary range: $170,000 to $190,000
Actual pay will be based on experience, location, and other permitted factors.
