Associate – Real Estate (Affordable Housing & Tax Credits)

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level Real Estate Associate to join their Affordable Housing and Tax Credits group. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding team in multiple large markets.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Washington, DC, as applicable.
- 1-3 years of substantive experience in real estate, partnerships, corporations, tax, or regulatory matters.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and possesses excellent follow-through.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors.
- Represent both for-profit and nonprofit developers who utilize a variety of federal, state, and local affordable housing programs.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys in handling complex real estate transactions across the country.
- Work on matters involving affordable housing tax credits and related legal issues.
