The Real Estate Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting real estate operations with compliant multi-state real estate files, commission calculations and sales database.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare new business proposals as assigned by management
- Enter client and property information into sales database; maintain active and closed transaction files
- Conduct review of sale, auction or purchase contracts to identify agents, sale price, commission rate and additional key details related to the transaction
- Assist with commission calculation for auctioneer and licensed real estate agents (purchase, seller or buyer’s agent)
- Maintain proper contact copies, closing documents within multi-state real estate files as necessary to comply with real estate commission audits
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable Specialist to process agent commission payments timely
- Support the corporate marketing department and generate marketing materials as directed
- Provide support for local or large auctions via in-person auction registration, bidding or other needs as determined
- Performs other related duties as assigned and required by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field preferred
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate of competency and 4 years work experience in lieu of Associate’s Degree
- Real Estate experience preferred
- Current Nebraska Real Estate License or able to obtain within 6 months
- 1 year of experience in administrative role
- Proficient on Microsoft Office 365 products
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 40 pounds
- Occasional travel (<10%) to attend company meetings, functions or real estate auctions
