About the Job
We are working with a well-known and growing real estate developer in CT seeking a Real Estate Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial reporting and analysis for multiple residential properties.
Maintain monthly work papers.
Prepare work papers and analyses required for the annual audit process.
Prepare work papers and analyses required for income tax and sales tax filings.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
Interact with the operations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable groups as required.
Record monthly journal entries.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
3-5 years of accounting experience required, 1+ years' experience in real estate accounting preferred.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines is a must.
Strong communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with real estate accounting software

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
