Summary/Description:
QED is looking for a Real Property Analyst to support federal agency data collection, data entry, validation, reporting, and real property management system application implementation support. This support will include review, update, consolidation, and synchronization of business process documentation to create an improved training and user experience. The resulting documentation will help the federal agency clarify roles and responsibilities, resolve areas of uncertainty, streamline communications, and improve interoperability of stakeholders by supporting the continued adoption and use of a real property management system application to help drive progress. The work requires attention to detail; advanced Microsoft Excel skills; and knowledge of federal financial and real property reporting policies, procedures, and best practices.
The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collate data and analyze information from disparate sources in a rational manner to make sound judgements and provide useful, actionable recommendations.
- Deliver timely and standardized responses to federal agency stakeholders.
- Maintain clean, accurate real property data
- Maintain high standards for data quality and timelines
- Be proficient in federal real property reporting requirements including the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS's) Real Property Data Warehouse (RPDW) or the Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP).
- Possess knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards Board lease accounting rules, the Federal Real Property Council guidelines, and applicable mandates.
- Possess knowledge of the lease administration process for federal commercial real property leasing.
- Have demonstrated similar experience supporting a federal government agency to successfully attain an unqualified audit opinion or reduce material weaknesses related to business processes.
- Be sensitive to reporting cycles and due dates to ensure adequate preparation and meet deadlines
- Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above
Required Education and Skills:
- Must have 3-5 years of direct experience in real property management or similar data collection, data entry, validation, and reporting experience.
- Must demonstrate organizational skills and an aptitude for detailed-oriented work and problem solving.
- Strong communications skills
- Be a fast learner
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work remotely to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner and to solicit the assistance and cooperation of others when needed or where appropriate
- Previous experience supporting real property management system applications is preferred
- Previous experience supporting federal agencies is preferred
- Must be able to pass a Public Trust background check and be granted a Public Trust clearance
