Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Record and document all received goods in the inventory management system.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient handling and storage of inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory management role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
