Receiving Agent - Sonesta

Job Description Summary The Receiving Agent Participates in all aspects of the receiving department, including receiving of nonfood items, food items, materials and equipment which are delivered through the loading dock. Job Description Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include: Key Job Function Receive all food, beverage, materials and equipment, which are delivered through the loading dock. Check for freshness, quality, size, and accuracy to food order sheets. If invoice price is different from order price write a credit. After received, price all items by case/item prices. Specialty items are to be received by both the receiving clerk and the chef. Pass all received/ priced items to the storeroom clerks to be put away. Receive all incoming packages, keep log book on all incoming and outgoing packages. Compare with order sheets to ensure proper item, price and specifications. As needed, help the storeroom clerks Daily posting of invoices and forward to Accounts Payable Department. Any other functions as required by supervisor and manager.
