ROLE

This position plays an integral part of the growth and expansion of the Agency, and provides excellent customer service to our prospects and clients. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and quick thinking are key.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per year

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, maintain office space

- Make phone calls to existing and potential clients

- Provide assistance to the President for customer service, marketing, and other special projects

- Help agents prepare paperwork for quoting new business, obtaining reports and quotes

- Assist with claims processing, client payments, and billing questions

- Manage documents and file storage (paper and in electronic client database)

Education / Experience

- High school diploma required; College degree preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written

- Familiarity with databases and Microsoft Office a must

- Must be able to juggle and prioritize many tasks and responsibilities

• Bilingual a plus
• Insurance agency experience or license (or interest in pursuing) a plus
