Receptionist: All Shifts - Southport Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Job Summary

• The receptionist provides switchboard, reception, and clerical duties (as needed) for the facility in accordane with established policies

Job Function

Professionally and accurately executes all telephone calls

• Greet visitors
• Meets and greets new admissions, hospital returns
• Assist other departments with clerical work
• Has knowlege of procedure during a fire drill
• Distribute weekly pay checks when necessary
• Performs other duties as assisgned
• Is on call to fill in on regular hours

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma
• Must have sensitivity to Elders
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have adequate clerical skills
• Must have a good speaking voice
• Must remain professional at all times
