REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Must have at least 6 months in an office performing office support duties.
- Letter position skills, grammatical skills and typing skills of 55 wpm. Knowledge of word processer.
- Filing capabilities.
- Ability to work in a health care setting which often includes working with the aged, chronically ill and disoriented persons.
- Ability to understand and complete tasks promptly.
- Clean, neat in appearance and appropriate dress for business office.
REPORTING: TheReceptionist reports to the Administrator.
JOB DUTIES:
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the proper department.
- Greet visitors and answer all questions to the best of your knowledge or direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Type correspondence for administrator and department heads.
- Filing correspondence, forms, records, contracts and agreements.
- Maintain and update telephone and cable lists.
- Filing as directed.
- Maintain AP files.
- Update vendor contract information.
- Process invoices and update Administrator weekly.
- Keep Physicians Credentialing Log current.
- Order all office supplies.
- Write out receipts for all bank deposits.
- Pass out employee checks.
- Keep copy room organized and all forms current.
- Pass out faxes.
- Send, separate and collect mail.
- Schedule beauty shop appointments.
- Follow up with corporate office and vendors for past due invoices.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
