Receptionist/Concierge
SUMMARY: Performs assigned duties that protect the safety and dignity of residents. Worktogether with all staff to ensure that the resident care goals are being met and that all buildinggoals are being met. The Receptionist must be able to always ensure proper management of thefacility, including staff, independent 3rd parties, deliveries, repairs, inspections and any otheritems which can affect the safety and wellbeing of the residents. They must listen to instructionsfrom the director and manage the facility in their absence.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performposition specific job duties at an acceptable level. Job responsibilities are completed byfollowing established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame. Anindividual will also demonstrate good skills in all forms of communication. Education and/or Experience: The ability to read, write, speak clearly and followwritten and oral instructions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: High School Diploma
Other skills and Abilities: Must be aware and understand the needs of the elderly.Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or physical condition of residents and reportthose observances to the resident care supervisor. Be thoroughly familiar with allpolicies and procedures of the facility. Must be able to manage stress appropriately,handle multiple priorities, make decisions under pressure, and have strongorganizational skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job position requires moderate physical demands. Duties mayinclude frequent walking, stooping/kneeling/bending, lifting/carrying, and pushing/pullingduring work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including the following but may includeother duties assigned by the supervisor.

Ensures safety of residents through appropriate behavioral interventions.

Ensures proper collection of room and board on a monthly basis.

Greeting all visitors in a professional manner. Ensuring all visitors are signing in and
out.

Balance and manage the resident account funds daily with monthly statements being
sent out.

Ensure proper compliance with all state regulatory agency requirements.

Taking detail phone messages and giving to correct department.

Submit the food, paper goods, chemicals and consumable orders on a weekly basis
within budgetary constraints.

Call EMS and families in an emergency.

Making sure that the overall appearance of the front lobby, living rooms, and
hallways are presentable to guest and families.

Maintain good hygiene and practice proper hand washing technique for infection
control.

Giving tours of the facility to visitors when necessary.
