• Answer phones in a professional and customer friendly manner.
• Determine thecaller's needs and help them by answering questions or directing them to another person who will be able to help.
• Interface with patients and families, physicians and staff in a professional and cordial manner.
• Admit patients and process their paperwork.
• Enter patient demographics/information in the system.
• Miscellaneous Administrative Duties for our Business Office

Required Skills:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial *Good communication skills
