Receptionist - Alera Group

Alera Group/Zinn Insurance is a reputable insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. We specialize in providing Business and Personal insurance solutions and service and we’re looking for a friendly and organized receptionist/administrator to join our team.

The Insurance Agency Receptionist/Administrator will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the administrative functions of the agency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Answer incoming calls, route them to appropriate personnel, and take messages when necessary.
• Manage appointment scheduling, maintain the agency’s calendar, and handle mail and packages.
• Maintain organized and accurate client files, both electronically and on paper.
• Assist with processing insurance applications, claims, policy changes, and perform data entry.
• Support the agency team with administrative tasks and maintain a clean, welcoming office environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or administration is a plus.
• Experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in insurance or financial services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office technology; familiarity with insurance or CRM software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service.

Hourly range is $18 to $20 per hour.
