Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to facilitate the communications functions of the business office and provide clerical support.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the communication system which may include: mail distribution, pagers, phone system, memos, answer incoming calls, and disseminates appropriate messages
• Provides clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets; monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, typing, special projects, filing and copying
• Competently handle multi-line phone system. Demonstrates understanding of system features. 
• Assists with maintenance of personnel files
• Promotes the agency philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to patients /families, physicians and community agencies. Uses effective customer service skills when directing calls and assisting others. 
• Provides computer support and data entry
• Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintains confidentiality
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school graduate (college preferred)
• 1 year general office experience
• Excellent computer skills
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint Proficient
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• Bilingual: English/ Spanish a MUST
