Overview:
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our community, ensuring residents and their families feel comfortable and at ease. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and confidentiality will contribute to an outstanding resident experience.
Specific Tasks/Duties:
- Answer multi-line telephone, directing calls to the appropriate personnel while maintaining client confidentiality and taking accurate messages.
- Greet and direct authorized visitors and vendors, ensuring completion of confidentiality agreements and maintaining a Visitors Sign-In/Sign-Out log.
- Conduct tours for prospective residents and family members, showcasing community amenities.
- Accept and record payments received via mail and at reception.
- Open and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients and ensure accurate distribution of residents' mail and packages.
- Assist department heads with clerical duties as needed and foster team spirit by cross-training to support other office staff.

Position Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma
- Applicable Experience: 1-2 years administrative/reception work (preferred)
- Professional Memberships, Licensures, Certifications: N/A
Essential Functions:
- General Working Conditions: Exposed to audible noises due to alarm systems.
- Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, reaching, stooping, and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Mental Acuity Requirements: Ability to read, interpret documents, write reports, speak effectively, and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.
- Sensory Requirements: Close vision, talking, and hearing.
- Technical/Motor Skill Requirements: Proficiency in operating office machines (copier, facsimile, calculator) and computer software programs.
