Our client is looking for a strong receptionist that can be available for periodic usage 1 – 2 times a month for 1 – 3 days at a time. Front-desk coverage includes:
- Answering phones, greeting guests and directing them appropriately
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail/deliveries/couriers. (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Maintaining security by following established procedures & issuing guest badges
- Managing common area tidiness and supply, including beverage coolers and snack bins as needed
- Experience working with various telephone systems – ability to transfer calls
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in using email, word processing software (such as Microsoft Word), and spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Excel)
- Familiarity with office software suites such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
- Appointment Scheduling Software
- Experience with using visitor management systems that track visitor arrivals, issue badges or passes, and capture visitor information etc.
- Email and Chat Platforms
- Adaptable to learning new technologies effectively and efficiently
