Receptionist/Scheduler-Audiology Senior Care - Nemours

This position is responsible for providing reception/scheduling duties for professional and ancillary staff. Greet all patients, families and outside clients/vendors in a professional manner. Help facilitate flow of patient care to ensure an efficient and expedient experience for the patient and family. Must be comfortable using electronic records.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Answer/monitor all incoming phone calls. Confirm active enrollment with Nemours SeniorCare (NSC)

2. Schedule patient appointments appropriately, triage for needed device drop-off vs appointment

3. Validate patient insurance cards

4. Collect/post patient copays, complete Daily Cash Reconciliation Form (DCRF) accurately

5. Document appropriate information into EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)

6. Request outside medical records for patients, as needed

7. Assist with monthly statistics for department

8. Approach all clinical interactions in a patient focused manner, demonstrate strong customer service skills

9. Ability to multitask successfully

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma

1 year job related experience
