As a Receptionist, you are the most friendly person in the office. You greet everyone with a smile, have a servers heart, and provide support as needed to ensure that all visitors, clients and team members feel warmly welcomed each and every day.
You will answer and redirect incoming calls, greet clients, prospective clients and other visitors by name when possible. You will also seat clients and prospects, and other guests in the conference room, and provide refreshments. Your role includes keeping the reception area and break room clean at all times.
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure a positive and professional client-based service experience
- Answer and redirect incoming calls, emails and text messages
- Respond to or forward client questions to the appropriate department
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly manner and determine the reason for their visit
- Contact clients to schedule appointments with attorneys and other staff
- Maintain the reception area, conference room and break room so they are clean and presentable at all times
- Perform other law firm related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (A.A. degree or higher preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Pleasant, upbeat, and engaging personality
