About the Job
OVERVIEW:
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests at the facility.
HOURS:
Per-Diem, As needed. Shifts are 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 3pm-10pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greets patients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs
or escorts them to the appropriate location
• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages and schedules appointments if
needed
• Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
• Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
• Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
• Report any complaints to immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• This job operates in a professional office environment.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit;
use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb
stairs; talk or hear.
• Extensive standing for long periods of time (daily) and walking long distances (daily)
• Work flow subject to frequent interruptions
• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
• May be subject to work outside of the facility when working under inclement weather
