Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Disaster Restoration Estimator & Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reconstruction, proficiency in Xactimate, and a solid understanding of general construction. This role will be responsible for estimating, managing projects, and working with insurance companies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality restorations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate restoration and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
- Assess property damage and scope of work required for restoration and reconstruction.
- Coordinate and manage restoration and reconstruction projects from initial loss assessment to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with clients, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are handled efficiently.
- Supervise construction teams, ensuring quality and timely completion of all projects.
- Track project budgets, timelines, and adjust as necessary to ensure project success.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensure all safety, compliance, and quality protocols are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in disaster restoration, construction estimating, or project management.
- Extensive experience using Xactimate for estimating restoration and reconstruction projects.
- Strong understanding of general construction practices and local building codes.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget.
- Symbility experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Roofing experience preferred but not required
