Pay: $17.20 per hour
Work schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts with weekend & night rotations

Work with a purpose! Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the El Valle Detention Facility where we provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release.
Job responsibilities: The General Records Clerk performs clerical tasks and procedures related to records administration.
Essential functions:
1. Perform count room duties ensuring an accurate facility count.
2. Prepare and review intake packets. Proofread records or forms including arrival and release files; copy needed information from one record to another as required.
3. Operate office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and copy machine.
4. Perform input and output operations and make adjustments necessary to ensure schedules are met.
Education and Experience Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Computer proficiency required. One (1) year of clerical, administrative or related experience, including computer data entry experience is preferred.
+ Must successfully complete required preservice training.
+ Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
