Employment Class: Temporary, Full Time (180 days)
Status: Non-Exempt Hourly
Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour; plus $4.57 per hour (Health & Welfare benefit)
Reports To: Project Manager
Position Summary:
Advancia Technologies Services, LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking qualified Records Management Technicians who will perform the following:
General Description/Purpose:
• Records management fundamentals
• Files management
• Files and/or refiles documents into existing folders/boxes
• Records review
• Records disposition
• Assembly and breakdown of boxes
• Moving for files/boxes
• Labeling folders/boxes
• Retrieving records/boxes
• Scanning records
• Document preparation
• Typing
• Data entry
• Copying
• Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
• Normal scheduled work week is Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Hourly employees: Generally scheduled for 40 hours; overtime hours may be required based on the needs of the company
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, sequencing and knowledge of weights and measures
• Able to assess and organize
• Ability to communicate and work in team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education & Experience REQUIREMENTS:
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Three (3) years of clerical work experience
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (Other preferences will be given for special language skills when there is a business need)
• Applicants must pass pre-employment background check(s)
• Must be able to pass suitability clearance
Physical Job Requirements
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the site location.
• Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break.
• Frequent handling of folders. Grasping, pulling, lifting, scooping, etc;
• Working safe requires the ability to use both hands;
• Frequent overhead lifting of 30 lbs or less
• 10-key and data entry
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance
• Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Ability to distinguish color to perform job functions
Environmental Concerns
• Normally subjected to inside environmental conditions
• Foot wear must be closed toe and closed heel with a non slip surface
• Company provided uniform, shirt and contractor badge.
Performance Standards
• Responsible for conforming to safety standards and wearing clean, ‘uniform provided’ attire and will be well groomed at all times
• Comply with performance criteria, standards of conduct, discipline and discharge procedures contained in company Policy and Procedures Manual
• Must be able to perform the job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must meet all Performance Evaluation standards applicable to job
