Department Summary:UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge is a unique Southern California meeting and retreat venue. Located high in the pine-studded San Bernardino Mountains on the tranquil shores of Lake Arrowhead, our 50-acre lodge provides meeting space and accommodations for groups from September through mid-June. During the summer, Bruins Woods Family Camp program runs for ten consecutive weeks, with up to 80 families attending each week.Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Guest Experience Manager and the supervision of the Guest Experience Coordinators, the Guest Experience Facilitator is responsible for coordinating a diverse range of recreational, leisure, social, wellness, and physical programs for guest experiences at UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge, including but not limited to the Bruin Woods and Arrowhead Adventures programs. The programs offered aim to enhance team-building skills for conference attendees, provide relaxation and pleasure for all guests, ensure safety and recreation in poolside and lakefront areas, and deliver a memorable experience for all Lodge and Bruin Woods guests. If appropriately certified, the incumbent may also be tasked with ensuring the safety of facility patrons in an aquatic setting. This includes operating and maintaining recreational equipment, providing emergency care if certified, and enforcing department policies.
