The incumbent oversees the Recreation Specialists and the operation and maintenance of the fitness/sports center. 

Essential Duties & Job Functions: 

• Operates and maintains fitness/sports centers to enhance readiness and performance. 
• Provide customer driven programs that promote total fitness, esprit de corps, and quality of life for the AF Airman/Guardians (and their families), Government Employees, and Contractors.  
• Administer first aid according to prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary. 
• Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to maintain discipline and ensure safety. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Mandatory:

• High school graduate or equivalent. 
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ American Heart Association Basic Life Support training. 
• Automated External Defibrillator training. 
• First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen training. 
• Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.  
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.  
• Valid Alabama state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.   
• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.   
• U.S. Citizenship.   
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
