This is a part-time position (8-20 hours) and requires every other weekend and holiday. Flexible scheduling available. Dementia/Memory Care experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate group activities and dementia-friendly sensory programs
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
• Provide support during meal times
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Experience with Alzheimers/Dementia and special needs is a plus (Willing to train the right cadidate)
• Ability to self motivate
• Flexible with schedule, availability between 4-8 pm, alternating weekends and holidays are required.
