Summary and Scope
We seek an individual with strong candidate generation and screening expertise to join our IT HR Team as a Technology Associate Program Recruiter for our IT early career program. This virtual role provides an opportunity to partner with a dynamic IT HR team to hire top talent for our competitive technology program for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.

About the Technology Associate Program (TAP)

The Technology Associate Program is a two-year program designed for early career IT professionals to help them develop expertise and technical acumen as a technologist. Responsibilities
Service Client TAP recruiting, delivering full cycle recruiting for TAP positions, including client and candidate engagement and relationship management:
o Generate referrals/leads for active roles
o Manage all aspects of candidate sourcing, conducting research and working with TAP Program Manager to maintain relationship and source candidates from partnership universities
o Create, attend, and host interview days for open TAP positions
o Review and screen candidates in applicant tracking system and Handshake against job requirements
o Conduct initial phone screens to pre-qualify potential candidates and keep track of candidates stage throughout the recruiting process
o Ensure information is properly maintained for reporting purposes
o Work directly with hiring managers to determine preferred candidate qualities and skills
Effectively manage client and candidate communication; ensure appropriate follow through from the initiation of the search through hire or declination of candidate
Collaborate with others externally and internally to achieve the desired, most efficient recruiting results for the company
Serve as an effective and appropriate representative of Client when working with internal and external parties
Adopt, model, and promote the Client culture with pride and integrity
Requirements
o Bachelor's Degree
o 3+ years of full life cycle direct hire Information Technology recruiting for a large firm or agency
o Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
o Knowledge and passion for the craft of recruiting
o Ability to operate within a matrix, geographically dispersed organization
o Excellent communication and presentation skills
o Collaborative interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain relationships
o Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires
o Effective negotiating skills; diplomatic
o Some knowledge of industry and technology trends; compensation and benefits
o Proficient with MS Office suite; applicant tracking system(s); Taleo and Handshake experience preferred
o Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
o Ability to work independently and within a team
