Adecco is hiring Recycling Technicians in Allentown, PA!
Processing recycling, handling materials, recycling various products, moving items around facility. Handling hazardous waste, including identification, labeling, storage, and management in accordance with all regulations and internal safety requirements.
This position is physical—you will be on your feet all day. You will be lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling often. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable, regular attendance/punctuality is required to meet business needs- very strict on attendance—you must be reliable and have transportation and be able to fully commit to full time hours
Pay Rate- $18 per hour
Available Shifts/Positions:
First shift Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm- Primary duties for this opening will be unpacking lightbulbs and sorting batteries
Second shift Monday-Thursday 3pm to 11:30pm, Friday 1pm to 9:30pm – Primary duties for this opening will be sorting electronics and unpacking lightbulbs.
Job Description
We’re looking for Recycling Technicians who will share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. Once properly trained, you will safely separate and pack materials for transport and complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Handling hazardous waste, including identification, labeling, storage, and management in accordance with all regulations and internal safety requirements.
Handling waste batteries, and Electronics for recycling, including identification, labeling, sorting, and storage.
Unload trucks, stage equipment for processing
Document appropriate operation in logs
Operate fork truck, lifting mechanisms, drum dumpers, drum and pallet jacks
Reliable, regular attendance/punctuality is required to meet business needs- very strict on attendance—you must be reliable and have transportation and be able to fully commit to full time hours
Assure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
Perform work safely, in accordance with all company policies and procedures to prevent injury
Perform related work and additional duties as requested/assigned by supervisor
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
