Maximus currently has a Referral Coordinator opportunity with the Maximus Montana Employment and Training Project. This Project will provide intake, assessment and development of an Employability/Service Plan (ESP) plus case management of participants along with job development, placement, & retention services. Our goal is to equip participants to be successful in the world of work by building their skills capacity, prioritizing employment, and supporting retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate and process intake referrals (incoming calls, voicemail, and email). - Respond to calls, provide responses to questions, and refer clients to the appropriate agency as needed. - Perform initial eligibility screen for services. - Determine urgency, sensitivity, and critical nature of incoming matters and disseminate as appropriate. - Maintain familiarity with the various complaint/grievance/appeal processes for clients as outlined by policy and procedures. - Assist Customer Service Representatives to triage complaint calls appropriately and effectively. - Intervene with complex complaints. - Maintain updated knowledge of the program, community resources, Health Plan coverage, and options for clients and ensure compliance with all contract, state and federal requirements. - Retrieve client messages from ACD system. - Report any issues of concern and/or problems to the attention of and determine referrals to Ombudsman Manager. - Coordinate with a wide variety of service organizations. - Enter intake activities into database and create case files. - Provide information and referrals as appropriate, perform follow up, and mail satisfaction surveys monthly. - Maintain and update resource information such as program policies, procedures, and training materials. - Research, proofread and edit documents and case information. - Track and file all case-related documents including incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and letters. - Maintain responsibility for mediation, assistance with appeals, and complaint resolution. Minimum Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent with 0 - 1 years of experience.
This position requires residency in the state of Montana.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
