Job Summary
We are currently seeking high-energy professionals who are results-focused with sound business acumen and problem-solving skills to join our dynamic organization as a Refined Product Trading Analyst. Ideal candidates should be natural team players, eager to learn and grow, and have an eye for innovation and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be one with a solid understanding of refined products market fundamentals, with experience in gasoline and distillate analytics, able to grasp concepts quickly, proven ability to generate value through fundamental forecasts, have an eye for detail, solid communication skills to coherently express ideas, and strong leadership to positively influence others in the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (Economics & Finance coursework preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership, positive influence, and teamwork behaviors.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic high-pressure diverse team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding and utilization of fundamental market data to generate insightful views and trading strategies.
- Demonstrated understanding of regional and/or global markets, market exposure, risk management, basis risk, blending and arbitrage economics.
- Demonstrated experience using analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Job Duties
Maintain gasoline & distillate PADD level supply/demand balances, refinery turnaround models, and ship tracking analytics.

Develop unique market insights and independently translate these views into tradable ideas to be executed by the gasoline and distillate traders
Develop domestic and international arbitrage tools.
