About the Job
The Security Shift Supervisor will oversee the facility to protect all company assets. The Supervisor may also manage and/or implement security protocols related to the storage of confidential information and documents.
- Provides and/or implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
- Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors.
- Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service is always a top priority.
- You’re good at reading and writing detailed reports.
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Responding to security emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, or bomb threats
- Ability to write Disciplinary forms if misconduct is done at the site
- Strong leadership skills
- To enforce the duties of making sure all visitors/trucks have been signed in accordingly
About the Qualifications
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a state security license or the ability to obtain one
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with no restriction B and clean driving record if security posts operate a company vehicle.
- Demonstrate a stable work history
- Have reliable transportation
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry
- Must have previous supervisor experience in security or a similar field (1 year)
- Ability to walk/Stand for long periods of 8+hours a day
- Ability to work inside/outside
- Must be able to inspector loads for loss prevention
