Position Title: Refrigeration Technician
Location: Zeeland, MI

We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for new hires in our Maintenance Roles! Pay is determined by experience and is provided weekly. Day and night shifts are available.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our fast-paced team, working cross-functionally across our facility to maintain and troubleshoot our equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our plant operations through proactive maintenance and problem-solving. As part of our team, you will play a key role in minimizing equipment downtime and contributing to overall company performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to achieve production and safety goals.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failures by identifying and solving issues promptly.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in refrigeration systems, components, and controls (including ammonia refrigeration systems).
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals; must demonstrate understanding of refrigeration systems.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers for logging information, processing daily work orders, and using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 12 hours).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with welding, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• Additional certifications or licenses related to refrigeration or electrical systems are a plus.

Pay Rate: $24 to $33 per hour, depending on experience.
