Refrigeration Technician - Malace HR

Malace|HR is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to work in the Lexington, KY area. The position will be mobile with commercial accounts in the Lexington Region. A company provided work van outfitted with all essential tools will be provided. Normal hours are 8 AM- 6 PM.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• Valid Drivers License
• Correctly complete necessary documents (work tickets and timesheets) in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Demonstrate ability to complete necessary customer paperwork and invoicing requirements.
• Proficient in operation of smart phone, tablet and or laptop
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Drive a company Vehicle safely to customer locations.
• Maintain and manage truck inventory in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines (If applicable).
• Ability to work outdoors

Requirements

• Identify, service, repair, and install all components of the HVACR systems we service. Including but not limited to:
  • -Receiver
  • -Oil Separator
  • EPR
  • Liquid Line Solenoid Valve
  • Suction Header
• Have a strong knowledge base of controller
• Learn to force defrost through the E2/Danfoss Controller
• Show what valve/valves you would close to pump down the rack
• Be able to pump down refrigeration circuits
• Demonstrate proper procedure when locating a leak
• Clear understanding of Parts Order Form
• Other duties as assigned
