Their Refrigeration Technicians are vital to maintaining their Team Members safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. Our client is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5000 for all new hires for their Maintenance Roles!
Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly!
Both day and night positions are available.
Hours are: 5p-5a and 5a-5p
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
Requirements:
- Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
- Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings
- Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required
