Responsibilities
- Engaging in a continual selling effort with clients to enhance the value of Expedient’s services and to create demand for additional revenue
- Retain, nurture and grow the existing client sales pipeline, forecasting future sales and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets
- Serve as a client advocate to ensure an optimal client experience by working with our Operations Support, Service Delivery and Product Development teams
- Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with a dedicated Solutions Architect
- Develop account plans for your largest clients to assist in overall account engagement by the broader support team
- Establishing and fostering key stakeholder relationships across a range of personas and functions within the client organization, including data center infrastructure, application development, finance, procurement, legal and senior executives
- Responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close for existing clients
- Partner with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Client Advisors to develop strategies to target and grow Expedient’s overall account base in your region
- Grow the sales pipeline of new business, forecasting future sales based on trends and observations and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas
- The proven ability to become a strategic advisor and thought leader for your clients is crucial to the success of this role
- At least 5 years of experience in IT solutions-based selling
- Proven track record of exceeding individual sales and retention goals through the strategic management of a portfolio of existing clients
- Successful track record in a complex sales environment, IT or Technology is highly preferred
- Proficiency in sales funnel development, deal progression and closing
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation to close with the ability to accurately forecast your business
- Strong in-person and virtual networking skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other sales tools (i.e., account-based marketing, prospecting, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline is highly desired
