About the Job
MGM Healthcare provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living centers in Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma. Our centers provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation services - using the latest equipment and techniques - that run the gamut from physical and occupational therapy to special memory units and respite care. Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position would support all MGM facilities.
We're seeking skilled workers who like to work with their hands to create beautiful space for our residents. The Regional Maintenance Worker will travel to multiple facilities in the St. Louis metropolitan area to complete skilled work on renovation projects. Travel to Iowa, Oklahoma or Southern MO for special projects may be required.Outstanding patient care is our business, and all work needs to be done with outmost consideration of the persons residing in these facilities.

Essential Functions of the Regional Maintenance Worker:
- Simple equipment maintenance
- Lay vinyl flooring planks and other flooring material
- Room and facility remodels
- Hang dry wall, mud, sand and paint
- Basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC
- Furniture Repair.
- Normal day-to-day maintenance assistance at facilities when required
Skills of Maintenance Workers:
- Framing
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Dry wall and painting
- Equipment installation
- Tile and Flooring Installation
- Eye for detail
- Ability to stick to tight schedule when working within the facilities
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing & HVAC
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and electrical tools
- Vehicle with registration and insurance is a must, travel is required
- Technical apprenticeship or schooling a plus
