The ideal candidate will live in Prince William County and have a background in education or management and a passion for children and learning!The Regional Director, comparable to a General Manager role, will lead all aspects of day-to-day operations keenly focused on safety, program quality, compliance and staff development. The successful candidate will have strong leadership presence and must be a collaborative leader who values servant leadership and is capable of establishing partnerships and developing consensus. The selected candidate will be results-oriented and comfortable operating as a hands-on manager. In this exciting role, you'll have the chance to direct the following:Ensure district-wide compliance with all federal, state and local laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures. Proactively look for ways to mitigate riskDirect completion of performance metrics to ensure customer/stakeholder satisfaction is high in all operational areas and implement a district-wide action plan to guarantee annual continuous improvement goals are achievedRecruit, hire, train and supervise Area Managers in assigned region. Promote leadership skills and ensure Area Managers have access to training and developmental opportunitiesMaintain positive relationships with Prince William County Public Schools, existing customers and build rapport throughout the community and within the industryDevelop, recommend and implement policies and procedures for the region to obtain maximum enrollmentVisit program sites regularly to maintain program quality, licensing standards, and customer satisfactionServe as a moderator of sensitive and confidential matters and identify resolve with a sense of urgencyResponsible for overall financial health of the designated region and promote growth of the business Here's what you will need:BA or BS in Education, Business, Marketing or Communications with 3 5 years of related experience in education or management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in education/child care industry preferred.Ability to communicate sensitive and confidential information to various stakeholders and identify solutions with a sense of urgency.Strong performance-driven proactive leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to exceed tactical and strategic objectivesAn entrepreneurial spirit that knows how to develop industry relationships socially adept with high emotional intelligenceExcellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsStrong business acumen with strength in financial analysisIT fluency, particularly MS office softwareExcellent time management and organizational skills, knows how to prioritize and triage obligationsDemonstrate an ability to treat people with respect, maintain commitments, inspires the trust of others, works with integrity and upholds organizational values.
