About the Job
We are seeking a Regional Director for Family Hope Center to join our Family Hope Center Program. As a Regional Director for Family Hope Center, you will Shine Hope as you oversee and lead the operations of assigned Family Hope Center locations in the South Texas region. you will develop and implement plans to meet overall goals and objectives, demonstrate operational competence for continued program development, ensure alignment with Buckner's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures. You will also develop and manage staff and professional resources to provide programmatic services to clients. Join our team and shine hope in the lives of others!
What you'll do:
- Analyze program needs; oversee development and implementation of changes in functional area programming. Responsible for demonstrating operational competence for continued program development. Ensure fidelity with program model manual.
- Prepare annual budgets for assigned Family Hope Centers, consistent with executive management guidance, including, but not limited to, the budget for operations and for capital needs including expansion opportunities.
- Support, and collaborate with key leaders and departments including other FHC Directors, Directors of Administration, Volunteer Engagement, Program Development and Design, Development and others to create a highly synergistic culture. Implement and follow Communication Framework.
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures that support the provision of quality care and excellence in customer service to clients. Support Directors of Administration and Operations in the delivery of Buckner Standards of Integrity and the 5 Star Customer Service initiative. Direct and manage the development of strategic action plans. Ensure alignment with and attainment of goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial activities of assigned Family Hope Centers, including, but not limited to, setting fees, reviewing weekly reports, supervising preparation for audits, meeting with auditors, reviewing expense reports, and overall agency expense records. Support Senior Director in oversight of financial activities of the domestic Family Hope Centers.
- Supervise, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to direct reports. Ensures optimal job performance; identify issues, discuss with staff and direct corrective actions; assist, guide and support supervisors with employee selection, review, evaluation and terminations.
- Provide professional growth and development of the Family Hope Center team members; develop and communicate annual goals and objectives; monitor and provide constructive feedback; conduct annual performance evaluation in a timely manner.
- Oversee and assist in crisis intervention for assigned locations.
- Participate in planning, implementing, and facilitating family/community-based activities and events.
- Perform quality assurance inspections of assigned facilities and programs as needed; identify potential corrective actions; discuss findings/concerns with Senior Director and oversee any required adjustments.
What you'll bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years prior related experience in the professional delivery of community-based services
- Minimum 5 years prior related experience delivering administrative/supervisory responsibilities required.
- Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.
- Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
- Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
