Regional Director of Business Development and Sales
American Senior Communities is now hiring a Regional Director of Business Development and Sales for Northeast Indiana (Fort Wayne and the surrounding area)! This role provides oversite and supports the advancement of business development and sales efforts. The position also ensures facility-based sales team members adhere to standards and expectations to achieve expected outcomes that support census growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops comprehensive sales and business development strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team to meet budgetary volume projections.
- Coordinates with Executive Director to educate and coach admissions team members on role standards and expectations. Regularly assesses sales team member’s training opportunities for professional development.
- Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of the organization’s markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources and competitors.
- Maintains a working knowledge of federal and state regulations and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues.
- Assists in recruiting, selecting, and orienting members of the sales team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree marketing or related field preferred; or three years equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous health care admissions/marketing/sales experience preferred. At least one year’s experience in sales preferred.
