Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Regional Director of Construction Services.
The Regional Director of Construction Services will be responsible for the capital budget development for the real estate (physical plant) needs of each community and work closely with community staff to coordinate the movement of projects through the planning, design, approval, bidding and implementation process.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and manages annual capital budget projects for each community (regionally) under the real estate department capital budget.
- Manages the design development of all assigned capital projects.
- Generates bid packages.
- Competitively bids construction projects.
- Negotiates contracts for construction with outside vendors.
- Supervises general construction contractors and sub-contractors.
- Supervises architects, engineers and designers.
- Coordinates all phases of projects.
- Provides specialized support to community Directors of Physical Plant Services or Directors of Building Services as directed by the Real Estate Department.
- Build and maintain construction teams, manage construction teams as nessesary.
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or equivalent preferred
- 2 or more years’ experience in commercial construction supervision
- Management experience in the senior living (CCRC) industry preferred
- Able to read and understand construction documents, drawings and specifications
- Excellent computer software skills including MS Word, Excel/spreadsheets, Microsoft Office

Pay Range:$107,000.00 - $133,000.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
