MGM Healthcare provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living centers in Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma. Our centers provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation services - using the latest equipment and techniques - that run the gamut from physical and occupational therapy to special memory units and respite care. Our corporate office is in St. Louis, Missouri. We're seeking a leader with craft skills and building maintenance experience to join our team as Regional Director of Maintenance to oversee, direct, and complete facility and maintenance projects.

Regional Maintenance Director Job Summary:
- Responsible for organization and direct plant operations for 10+ centers located in Missouri and Iowa.
- Provides leadership in developing performance standards for all maintenance and environmental services personnel (to include contracted personnel if applicable).
- Directly assist facility maintenance supervisors with day to day operations and maintenance.
Regional Maintenance Director Responsibilities:
- Uses discretion and independent judgment to organize and direct facility maintenance supervisors.
- Determines schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.
- Maintains and models effective working relationships with other staff and peers, administrators, maintenance directors, centers employees, patients, families, and visitors.
- Provides leadership in developing performance standards for all maintenance and environmental services personnel (to include contracted personnel if applicable).
- Evaluates and counsels all maintenance employees on their performance in a professional and timely manner.
- Responsible for filling in at a center in the event a center is without maintenance to assure all tasks are kept up to date including regulatory compliances and maintenance work orders.
- Responsible for designated areas financial performance to include: monitoring and controlling resource utilization and expenditures, while ensuring adherence to operating budget.
- Responsible for securing service contracts in an efficient and cost effective manner as required (maintenance, communication, utilities, alarms, waste disposal, etc.) for plant operations and environmental services.
- Reports all activity to Director of Purchasing in a timely manner prior to weekly and monthly review meetings.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates department functions and activities to achieve objectives and complies with regulatory standards and requirements.
- Ensures maintenance supervisors are performing all routine and non-routine inspections, centers structure and equipment meet existing codes set forth by local, state and federal government agencies.
- Responsible for overseeing scheduling and monitors maintenance and repairs on all center equipment, structures and vehicles in a timely manner.
- Ensures the necessary logs and records are maintained including preventive maintenance (TELS) and operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Experience of the Regional Director of Maintenance:
High school graduate or equivalent.
TELS Experience.
Prior experience in oversight responsibilities of maintenance and renovation projects in residential care settings.
Skills in framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, equipment installation and repair, painting are required.
An eye for detail and quality work is highly desired.
Ability to manage demanding schedules for project completion.
