As a Regional Director of Pharmacy, you will be responsible for the oversight of all OTP facilities and pharmacies in Ohio, following all the state and federal regulations.  The job entails a high level of traveling, responsibility and knowledge.  The Regional Director of Pharmacy has the expertise and willingness to assist and manage all site pharmacists and provide them with information and solutions.

Requirements:

· Must have a current Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio

· Experience as a PIC in Ohio

· Prior knowledge of local, state and federal regulations

· Must possess a current valid driver's license in good standing and be insurable by the designated carrier.  This role is required to drive for company purposes

· Travel up to 50% is required within the Ohio region.  Overnight travel is required

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the pharmacy program, direct, review, maintain and rectify pharmacy operating procedures to include safety and security processes

· Compliance of all Take Homes.  Will assure that take homes are made in compliance with regulations

· Assist and support all site nurses with med room compliance

· Offers audit support during inspections

· Ensure all medication is administered and dispensed based on a physician order

· Responsible for the safe and efficient distribution, control and accountability for all medications

· Monitor, control and maintain inventory of medications and supplies needed
